Lolowa Alkindi is a physicist working as a Research Assistant with Professor Mallory S.E. Roberts on RAAD (Rapid Acquisition Atmospheric Detector), A detector that won the UAE Space Agency Mini-Sat competition in 2018 and that will be placed in a CubeSat and launched during 2020 to study Terrestrial Gamma Ray Flashes from space.
Lolowa graduated from Sorbonne University in Abu Dhabi with a Physics Degree following the LYCEE LOUIS LE GRAND advanced science and mathematics program during high school. She is a Student Ambassador of the UAE Space Agency working on promoting Space Studies and Science in the UAE.

Working with the RAAD Team in NYUAD on developing a detector to study Terrestrial Gamma Ray Flashes coming from lightning.
