Xin Xie

Postdoctoral Associate Affiliation: NYU Abu Dhabi
Education: University of Cambridge

Xin Xie's research in NYUAD focuses on nuclear function of beta-actin in genome organization, gene expression control, and cell identity regulation. I am also discovering some previously unnoticed function of beta-actin in cell biology.

Xie did undergraduate and Master's degrees in Hong Kong, in Molecular biology, focusing on Cancer research. Xie received a PhD in MRC-Laboratory of Molecular Biology, University of Cambridge in 2015. PhD projects focused on the functional analysis of Foxp3 protein in gene expression control in regulatory T cells, molecular immunology perspective.

Xie joined NYUAD in 2016 with research here focusing on nuclear function of beta-actin in genome organization, gene expression control, and cell identity regulation. Xie is also discovering some previously unnoticed function of beta-actin in cell biology.
