Benjamin Anwasia

Benjamin Anwasia obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Delta State University, Abraka, Nigeria, and his Master's degree in Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Barcelona, Spain. Benjamin received his Joint PhD from the Universities of Aveiro, Minho, and Porto in 2021, under the supervision of Prof. Ana Jacinta Soares and Prof. Ana Patrícia Gonçalves.
During his Ph.D., Benjamin worked on the hydrodynamic limits of kinetic equations. More precisely, the hydrodynamic limits of the Boltzmann equation for reactive mixtures of monatomic and polyatomic gases. His work on hydrodynamic limits of kinetic equations is still ongoing.
