Workshop 2: Narrative writing - How to craft a story | 2-4pm

This workshop teaches participants the fundamentals of narrative and its power in effective communication. We discuss and apply several principles that enhance academic storytelling in this particular setting. Through interactive and hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to better construct their three-minute thesis presentations through strong narrative fundamentals.

Workshop 4: Adapting Your Presentation to Different Mediums | 2-4pm

This workshop addresses how to adapt your speech to suit the venue, occasion, and audience. We will also discuss visual aids, how to use them to supplement your delivery, and what to do and what not to do in slide design. Through guiding principles and bespoke feedback, you will learn how to tailor your content, language, and visuals to effectively engage your audience.
