Nour Abdelrahman is a Postdoctoral Associate at the NYU Abu Dhabi Water Research Center. She received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from Khalifa University. Her doctoral research focused on developing bio-derived and two-dimensional nanocomposite materials for lithium recovery from aqueous resources, including hydrogels, aerogels, membranes, and green solvent-based separation systems. Abdelrahman has received several recognitions, including the MIT Technology Review Arabia Innovators Under 35 MENA and the QUWA Women in Research Award.
