Research Areas: Thin-film composite/nanocomposite reverse osmosis (RO) membrane fabrication/modification; Desalination Water/wastewater treatment using polymeric membranes such as microfiltration (MF), ultrafiltration (UF), nanofiltration (NF), forward osmosis (FO), and RO; Nutrient/resource recovery from industrial/domestic wastewater; Hybrid process operation and design, and material synthesis


Dr. Noman Khalid Khanzada is working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the Water Research Center (WRC), New York University (Abu Dhabi Campus). Before joining the WRC, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow at the City University of Hong Kong and EPRO Advance Technology Limited, Hong Kong. Dr. Khanzada also joined the Civil & Environmental Engineering Department, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), USA., as visiting graduate researcher and the Department of Environmental Science, Barrett Hodgson University, Pakistan, as a Lecturer. He also worked as a Plant Engineer, research associate, and research assistant while working with several other international organizations at the National University of Science & Technology. In addition, he worked as an Engineer at Indus Dyeing & Manufacturing Limited and Pakistan Oil Mill Limited, Pakistan.
