Mayada Oudah is a Research Associate at the Social Science Experimental Lab. Her research utilizes concepts from behavioral and experimental economics alongside her extensive background in compute science to investigate what constitutes a successful relationship in a society of humans and intelligent machines, and how to maintain positive interactions and ethics in such a society. She has published several papers in prestigious conferences and journals (such as AAAI, iScience, Scientific Reports, and Nature Communications).
Oudah has a BSc in Software Engineering from Al Ain University of Science and Technology, an MSc in Informatics (Knowledge and Data Management) from the British University in Dubai in association with the University of Edinburgh, and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering (majored in Human-Machine Interaction) from Masdar Institute of Science and Technology in collaboration with MIT.
