Sanjit Manohar Majhi received his MSc degree in Chemistry, in 2008, at Utkal University, India. He started working as a researcher from 2009 to April 2012, at IMMT, CSIR, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. He has worked as a quality manager com lab technician in industry until Dec 2012 in India. He received his PhD in August 2017 from Jeonbuk National University (JBNU), South Korea. He worked as a Postdoctoral fellow at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia (2018-2019) and Hanyang University (2019-2020), South Korea. Majhi was a Research Associate at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) (2021-2023) focusing on 2D materials for health and environmental applications. Currently, he is working as a Research Associate at New York University, Abu Dhabi, UAE since April 2023. He has published 37 papers with nearly 2780 citations, h-index of 27, and i10-index of 32. He is interested in the synthesis of various nanostructures including core@shell Nanoparticles, MOFs, metal-oxide NPs, 2D MXene materials, and organic crystals for gas, bio- and physical/mechanical sensor applications.
