Dr. Enas Qudeimat was awarded a Ph.D. fellowship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and completed her Ph.D. at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg in Plant Molecular Biology. She was a post-doctoral fellow with Dominique Van Der Straeten at Ghent University in Belgium and worked with Nina Fedoroff at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Qudeimat investigated the evolutionary conservation of abiotic stress responses using the moss Physcomitrella patens and Arabidopsis thaliana as genetic models. She has a record of outstanding achievement as an academic, administrator leader, and change manager in critically influential roles within internationally acclaimed educational institutions in Jordan, Germany, Belgium, Saudi Arabia, and UAE.
In her current role as an Associate Director for the Center for Genomics and Systems Biology at New York University Abu Dhabi, Dr. Qudeimat works to design effective research operational processes and to engage all stockholders in a productive and motivating work environment.
