Mohammad Rehan received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, India. He is currently a Research Associate in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi, UAE, collaborating with Safiya Khalil. Prior to joining the Khalil lab, Rehan worked with Alan R. Healy in the Department of Chemistry at NYUAD, and as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology in Dortmund, Germany, in the Department of Chemical Biology under the supervision of Herbert Waldman and group leader Kamal Kumar.

Research Summary

Rehan's research is based on advancing the synthesis, scalability, and processability of Covalent Organic Frameworks.
