Ameer Alakkal
Research Assistant

Education: BSc, University of Calicut; MSc, Aligarh Muslim University
Ameer Alakkal earned his bachelor degree in Biochemistry from the University of Calicut, India and completed his master degree in Biochemistry from the Aligarh Muslim University, India. In 2017 Ameer joined as a research assistant in Professor Galadari’s Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi. He is interested in studying the tumor suppression mediated by sphingolipids and prostate apoptosis response-4.
