DevLab Student Club

The DevLab supports and mentors aspiring young scholars through its student-led branch. Affiliated student lab members are granted access to selected faculty seminars, exposing them to the latest research in the field of Development. Students can also advance their independent research by presenting their work at the DevLab Student Seminar Series where they will receive feedback from peers and professors. Moreover, through employment opportunities, students assist DevLab-affiliated faculty research by drafting literature reviews on relevant topics; cleaning datasets using STATA, Matlab, R, and Python; and designing effective surveys to probe responses. With these experiences, students network with renowned faculty, are exposed to state-of-the-art ideas, and develop the necessary skills for a career in academic research and policy-making.

Employment Opportunities

The DevLab will periodically post openings for NYU Abu Dhabi students to work with members of the lab on various research projects.
