Research Areas: Sustainable Construction Materials; 3D Concrete Printing; FEM modeling; Low carbon cements
Xiangyu Wang is a Global PhD Student in Civil Engineering at New York University Tandon School of Engineering and is a Graduate Research Assistant at New York University Abu Dhabi. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from Xiamen University in 2015 and his MSc from Wuhan University in 2018.
His current research interest covers material characterization, low-carbon cement, and its applications in 3D concrete printing. During his master's study, Xiangyu's research topic focused on vibration-based structural health monitoring utilizing FEM modeling and the Bayesian approach.
