Subrota Halder is a highly motivated researcher with a strong background in atmospheric and ocean sciences. He holds an MSc in Atmosphere and Ocean Sciences from IIT Bhubaneswar and a PhD in Atmospheric and Space Sciences from Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. During his PhD, he was part of the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology, Pune, India. Halder's expertise includes decadal variability, predictability, and prediction of Tropical Indian Ocean sea surface temperature and Indian Summer Monsoon. Halder joined the Mubadala ACCESS Center in August 2023 as a Postdoctoral Associate. Before joining our center, he served as a Project Scientist II at the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology Pune, where he contributed to the development of a decadal prediction system for India.
