Nanda Kishore Reddy Busireddy is an air-sea modeler primarily focusing on air-sea interactions at local-to-large scales in the ocean. He obtained his PhD at the National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India, for his contribution to the improved understanding of the tropical cyclone air-sea interaction processes over the North Indian Ocean. He is a former SERB - Overseas Visiting Doctoral Fellow (OVDF) at Purdue University, USA.
Busireddy is a Postdoctoral Associate at the Mubadala Arabian Center for Climate and Environmental Science, Division of Mathematics and Science. He focuses on developing an ocean model for the Arabian Gulf region to understand the physical and biogeochemical ocean conditions from a climate change perspective. He will use the collected oceanographic data and numerical model simulations to help understand the regional maritime environment and climate impacts.
