I am currently a Graduate Assistant at the New England Center for Children, meaning that I am working full-time as an autism education teacher for students in the school's Intensive Instruction Program, all the while pursuing a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
I did a double major in Psychology and History during my undergrad, with my Capstone research focused on physiological shifts in mother-child dyads in early child development. Throughout my undergrad process, especially with the Capstone, as I read through the literature and observed the data collection process, it definitely prepared me to consider a career in academia research and potentially being an education practitioner.

Current: Graduate Assistant and Intensive Instruction Program Teacher in The New England Center for Children
Location: Southborough, Massachusetts, USA
Major: Psychology and History
I found this job during the Career Fair as I was looking to get a foot into the psychology career field and hopefully apply the things I've learned during my time as an undergrad. What I enjoy most about this work is that I have the chance to pursue my Master's degree and apply what I am learning in my work with students.
I hope to continue my work in autism education and be licensed as a behavior analyst to better help students achieve their goals in education and life beyond.
