Aspiring students seeking world class graduate programs at universities such as Yale University, the University of Cambridge, and Harvard University are welcome to the fifth Graduate School Fair at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD). The free event is open to the public and will run from 1:30-5:30pm on Saturday, October 6.
Recruiters from thirty of the world’s most prestigious graduate schools will convene at NYUAD, to meet with prospective students and offer insights and information on planning for graduate school and the application process. Graduate program recruiters from the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Canada, and the UAE will be in attendance.
In addition to receiving tailored advice for future study, visitors can take advantage of a series of talks that offer insider knowledge on how to craft a successful application. The recruiters will provide guidance on how to write a personal statement that will catch the eye of any graduate school, and will offer suggestions on how to ensure that applicant’s recommendation letters reflect the full scope of their academic achievements.
Visitors are also invited to attend a session on understanding the funding of a graduate program, and how to use financial aid programs to their advantage. Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Career Development Center Hazel Raja said: “To be able to provide a forum for potential students from across the UAE to meet with top graduate programs from around the world is something we are very proud of at NYUAD. We hope that students will come away from this event with valuable guidance on how to craft their submissions and feel comfortable with the process of applying to graduate school.”
Online registration is required for the event and is available through NYUAD’s website.
