The NYUAD Center for Genomics and Systems Biology and the NYUAD Institute are organizing an international symposium to discuss recent developments in genomics and systems biology. This is the twelfth NYUAD Center for Genomics and Systems Biology symposium and one of the leading venues for research discussion in the MENA region. The symposium will showcase current research in the fields of biomedicine and environmental biology.
Given the hosting of this year’s COP-28 by the UAE, the CGSB symposium will focus on the impact of climate change, with specific sessions on “Climate Change and Food Security” and “Climate Change and Biodiversity”. The internationally distinguished speakers invited to this symposium reflect the diversity of research conducted on genomics and systems biology, as well as their application to human health and climate change.
