The Center for Brain and Health and Abu Dhabi Precision Medicine Aspire Research Institute are excited to announce a new Brain Imaging Workshop designed to explore advances in the field and to enhance your knowledge.
The workshop will cover basic and more advanced concepts of MRI analysis in the context of brain structure and function through a series of hands-on sessions designed to provide practical experience with MRI data.
The workshop will be conducted by research experts at NYUAD, who will share their insights and experiences on applying and interpreting brain imaging data. You will gain experience working with large open science data sets, especially in the context of obtaining normative data for comparison to data acquired in the UAE.
The workshop is aimed at advanced undergraduate and early graduate students from across the UAE interested in neuroscience research. The workshop is designed to broaden the horizons for neuroscience research and careers in the UAE.
The workshop will include catering for all participants during the event and accommodation for out-of-town participants. To cover part of our expenses, each participant has a registration fee of AED 500.
