SIAM 2019 is a symposium that allows a small group of researchers, who are focused on the development of methods and processes to be used in the management of infrastructure, to present and discuss their most advanced ideas. There is no focus on a particular type of infrastructure.

Topics

All topics related to methods and processes that can be used in the management of infrastructure, including those to determine optimal monitoring and intervention strategies and programs. Some examples are 1) methods to improve the modelling of deterioration or changes in what is expected of infrastructure, 2) improved ways to conduct parts of the infrastructure management process, such as risk assessment or the development of intervention programs, and 3) the role of contractual agreements in the effectiveness of the management of infrastructure.
