This workshop addresses Emirati womanhood from multiple perspectives, involving topics such as women's leadership and empowerment, past and contemporary socio-economic livelihoods, women's (self) representations in history and heritage, family and marriage laws, women's health, as well as the various artistic fields in which Emirati women have come to express themselves.
