The purpose of this First workshop on parasitic nematodes is to bring together experts from the C. elegans and parasite biology communities to foster interaction and cross-fertilization of ideas between researchers in these related fields.

This workshop is the first of its kind in the region, and it presents 5 sessions on cutting-edge research on major topics, including: i) parasitic models; ii) development, behavior, and host interactions; iii) natural variation and genomics; iv) chemical and functional genomics; and v) new molecular genetic tools.

For more information on the workshop, abstract submission for posters, and available travel grants, please visit the NYUAD CGSB website.
