When I told my high school mentor who graduated from NYU New York that I would like to apply to NYUAD, she said that all the Abu Dhabi people she met were very passionate. 

I was going to write about my 2024 J-Term trip to Rwanda for this “favorite memory” question but deep down I realize that it’s all the great people I met at NYUAD that are vital to these memories. People who take initiative. People who are creative and adventurous. People who persist in doing what they believe. And people who taught me to care and love. 

Thank you everyone, including those whom I was sometimes too socially-exhausted to say “hi” to in D2.
