NYU Abu Dhabi does not require a deposit for tuition or housing. However, we do require you to follow the instructions below to give us a formal reply that affirms your commitment to reserving a place in the class.
From NYUHome, go to NYUAlbert and click on "View Application Status." Click on "Admitted Student's Portal," then click "Accept/Decline." To accept your offer of admission, check off the box immediately above the "Accept Offer" button to activate it.

In May, you will receive important communications from our Campus Life and Global Education offices. You will be asked to submit a copy of your passport so that we can start processing student residency visas for any student located outside of the UAE.
If your passport will expire before April 2021, please start the process of renewing your passport immediately. For the sole purpose of the UAE visa, your passport must be valid at least through April 2021, and must contain several blank pages for visa stamps. However, for any other academic or personal travel during the academic year, you will need a passport with longer validity—ideally for the full four years of your expected student status in the UAE. Please plan to renew your passport as soon as possible.
Students that hold a diplomatic passport must apply for a regular passport for the UAE visa process. Visas cannot be processed on a diplomatic passport.
Now that you've received your offer of admission it's likely that you have questions, want to meet current students, and/or talk with staff members from across the University. During the month of April, we'll be hosting several webinars and live virtual events to help you connect with the NYU Abu Dhabi community. Students admitted to NYU Abu Dhabi as part of the Class of 2024 will receive an email in early May with information about how to set up their NYU Abu Dhabi email address. You will not be able to activate your NYU NetID (network identification) until you receive the initial communication. It will be important for you to activate your NYU NetID immediately as all future communications will be sent solely to your nyu.edu email address.
If you have forgotten your NYU password, you will need to reset it.
If you are not receiving emails from NYU Abu Dhabi it is possible that you’ve activated your NYU NetID, but did not activate your NYU email. You can activate your NYU email easily by going to the start page and select the link "Google Apps for Education Password." Once you set the password, your email will be activated.
MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) is standard within NYU Abu Dhabi. You will require this to access the student portal and NYU email. Follow the steps to enroll for MFA (NetID required).

Please arrange with your high school counselor or IB Coordinator to have your final transcript sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in New York or Abu Dhabi. Final transcripts can be submitted by your counselor through the Common Application, by email to firstname.lastname@example.org from your counselor’s school email address, or by mail to either of the following addresses:

For Students Attending Non-U.S. Institutions: All matriculated students who have attended an institution outside of the United States are required to have their final graduation documents authenticated by our partner, Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). Please review our Proof of Graduation Requirements for Students Attending Non-US. Institutions for instructions.
We understand that the ongoing challenges associated with COVID-19 has created significant interruptions to many students' education, and prolonged school closures may result in a delay in final transcripts or examination results becoming available. Please do your best to submit final transcripts by August 1. However, we will work with anyone who may need special accommodations as a result of the impact of COVID-19.
The Profile(s), and any supporting financial documentation (if requested), are required for all students wishing to be considered for need-based financial support from NYU Abu Dhabi.
You may be asked to submit tax forms and/or financial statements to verify the information reported on your Profile application. You must provide all documentation requested by the Office of Financial Support in a timely manner. Requested documentation should be presented in English or be accompanied by an English translation. Only if you do not respond to data requests or if significant changes or data corrections are determined during the verification process would your award offer be affected.
You may access the details of your award offer on your To Do list through NYU Albert Student Center. On the Home Page you will see the To Do list. You may also view your up-to-date offer under the "Finances" tab, "View Financial Aid" for "2021".
You should read the award letter carefully as it will outline the details and requirements of your offer. You may also view the 2020-2021 estimated Cost of Attendance on NYU Albert Student Center.
If you are expected to receive financial support from a source outside of your family, please notify the Office of Financial Support at email@example.com of that assistance. Such support may be in the form of government grants, scholarships from community organizations, or other sources. Any such financial support from an external source will be considered in determining the amount of financial support you ultimately receive from NYU Abu Dhabi. Your combined awards cannot exceed the annual cost of attendance.
It is important to note if your financial support covers home travel, please do not make your own travel arrangements as the University (Office of Global Education) will send you more information and instructions about your travel to Abu Dhabi in mid-May.
If your financial support does not cover home travel, please make sure you book a flight landing in Abu Dhabi during the scheduled move-in dates for Marhaba. Due to UAE visa regulations, it is necessary for all flights to be booked to arrive in Abu Dhabi (not Dubai or Sharjah).
Please note that in mid-May you will also receive more information about the UAE visa process. Once the visa procurement process begins, please do not plan any kind of travel through the UAE prior to Marhaba as this would invalidate the entry permit the University will be arranging for you.
