The MSc in Interdisciplinary Data Science and Artificial Intelligence is a two-year, full-time, in-person program delivered on the NYU Abu Dhabi campus. To earn the degree, students must complete 10 courses (36 credits) and a thesis, designed to provide both a strong foundation in data science and AI while having the flexibility to explore interdisciplinary specializations.
Students will benefit from a balanced curriculum that combines foundational data science and artificial intelligence coursework with the flexibility to explore a personalized area of interest under the guidance of faculty experts in globally significant applied topics.
The program offers a student-centered experience with mentorship throughout the program and is distinguished by a year-long master’s thesis. This project allows the student to forge a deep knowledge base on a specific research area.
The program also provides unique exposure to emerging trends through a Data Science and AI Seminar series and an immersive Winter School, where students engage with cutting-edge research and industry applications in AI and Data Science.
