Microzines are mini-magazines made from one piece of paper, four folds, and a little bit of love! Join Pauline to destress and learn about the art and practice of making zines for little personal gifts, artistic explorations, how-to guides, or just for fun. All materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own additional coloring or decorating materials. This event is kid-friendly, and anyone can join (artistic skills not required!).

Join the OIE for a mindfulness session to cultivate a spirit of belonging through breathing and being in community together. The session will begin with a guided meditation, followed by a restorative circle process on accessing being and presence and sharing together in community. Deriving from practices of Native Americans, First Nations, and indigenous people, the Circle Process allows for the formation of strong relationships, the honoring of voices, and the creation of unity. We will introduce the circle as a way of relating and connecting to create a space that is equitable, open, and honors every voice.

Come join us for a restorative justice circle process focusing on the intersectional nature of climate anxiety and how different cultural contexts and social identities experience climate change. Circles provide an opportunity for processing a range of feelings and emotions, as well as making meaningful connections with one another. The Circle gives space to the person who has a talking piece to speak their heart and offer wisdom to the Circle. Once the holder of the talking piece has completed speaking, they pass it to the next person. Each in turn until all participants have spoken.

Administrative processes have an impact on our overall well-being; being either stressful or helpful when you're busy. There could be something you've been wanting to learn or improve in the way you work that you just haven't had the time for yet. Or maybe you've recently learned a cool trick that you think more people should know about!
This friendly zoom is an opportunity to ask simple questions and share tips on common tasks.
Sharing our perspectives and individual techniques, practices, tricks, and know-how gives us the opportunity to connect with each other in a way we might not always be able to when we're working within the silo of our team or physical location.
