Request NYUAD Student Volunteers

NYU Abu Dhabi is committed to securing meaningful and instructive volunteer and engagement opportunities for NYUAD students that also have a tangible and measurable result for the organization. We develop deep and rich partnerships with UAE-based organizations to create meaningful engagement programs that benefit NYUAD student volunteers and the broader community. We call this drive for social good #NYUADHeart.

If you are interested to work with us for meaningful community partnership, get in touch at nyuad.community.outreach@nyu.edu.

Why Work With Our Students?

They Have Volunteer Experience

The majority of NYUAD students were active volunteers in their community before arriving on campus. They bring with them experience working with organizations such as the Red Cross, the Red Crescent, World Wildlife Fund (WWF), and Relay for Life.

They Are Multi-Talented

Our students help contribute talents and experiences in areas including language, music, art, graphic design, dance, theater, journalism, sports, public speaking, health and wellness such as CPR training, and lifeguard certification.

Getting Started

We Help Identify an Appropriate Fit

Whether an organization is seeking volunteers on a short or long-term project, we work closely with our colleagues to ensure that our students are prepared for all professional opportunities, whether as a volunteer, intern, or employee. This also ensures that organizations and potential employers are able to build a relationship with NYUAD, and our students that can easily grow from the first volunteer or internship position to that of an employee or research assistant.

The staff and students at NYUAD serve as true inspirations and role models for providing outreach and service to this community we call home.

We have received many praises about the events with NYUAD and we can only say that we couldn’t have done it, and it wouldn’t have been the same, without NYUAD Office of Community Outreach.
