Faculty Committees
Faculty Committees are typically elected committees, composed mainly of faculty. They may have administrative, student, or other members as representatives of the larger community. Faculty Committees are initiated by faculty through the Faculty Council, report on a regular basis to the Faculty Council, and are governed by the Faculty Governance Guidelines.
Faculty representatives on Faculty Committees serve for three years and must be members of the Standing Faculty. Members of Leadership, Senior Academic Administration, and Associate Divisional Deans may not serve as faculty representatives on Faculty Committees.
