Cece Kim is a Research Assistant of Psychology at NYU Abu Dhabi. She holds a B.A. in Literature and Creative Writing from New York University Abu Dhabi.

Research

Kim’s current research focuses on intersectionality in the workplace, namely the perception and treatment of marginalized individuals in workplaces that endorse traditional masculine norms. Additionally, she is exploring how being at a global institution like NYU Abu Dhabi impacts students’ attitudes, values, and sense of belonging throughout their undergraduate years.

Her future plans involve pursuing further research in the realm of mental health, particularly concerning effective and culturally sensitive counseling measures for marginalized populations.
