Postdoctoral Associate Affiliation: NYU Abu Dhabi
Education: PhD King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST)

Research Areas: Wireless communication, stochastic geometry, performance analysis, optimization

Konpal Ali received her PhD and MS in Electrical Engineering from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST), Saudi Arabia in 2018 and 2014. She received her BS degree, also in Electrical Engineering, from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS), Pakistan in 2012. She joined the University of Manitoba, Canada as a Post-Doctoral Fellow in 2019 and was a Visiting Researcher at the University of Notre Dame, USA in 2016 and at Khalifa University, UAE in 2021.

Ali uses Stochastic Geometry tools to design, model and analyze large wireless cellular and ad-hoc networks. Her research interests lie in the performance analysis of various technologies to be deployed in current and future wireless networks such as non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), full duplex and integrated sensing and communication (ISAC).
