Lasha Ephremidze
Research Associate

Lasha Ephremidze is Research Associate in Mathematics at NYUAD since 2014. He received PhD from the Razmadze Mathematical Institute (1993), Tbilisi, Georgia. Ephremidze had a visiting position at the Prague Mathematics Institute (2000-02). He was a Matsumae International Fellow at Okayama University (2004/05) and a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Tokai University (2005-07). Since 2009, Ephremidze has been an Associate Professor in the Mathematics Department at Tbilisi State University. He has authored more than 100 publications and 2 patents.
Research
Lasha Ephremidze is working on developing a new algorithm of matrix spectral factorization and searching its practical applications in neuroscience, economics, control theory, etc.
