Research Areas: Artificial intelligence in healthcare, zero/few-shot learning, muti-model learning
Nasir Hayat joined the Clinical Artificial intelligence lab NYUAD as a Research Assistant in 2020. Previously, he worked as a Research Engineer at Inception Institute of Artificial Intelligence, where he primarily focused on zero-shot learning in computer vision. Nasir completed his bachelor degree in Computer Science with a specialisation in Artificial Intelligence from Lahore University of Management Sciences. His current research interests are in learning from minimal set of training data under zero/few shot learning for medical images and multimodal learning using medical imaging and EHR data.
Research
Currently, Nasir Hayat is working on chest radiographs diagnosis. the problem is formulated as zero shot learning where we aim to predict the disease cases for previously unseen diseases.
