Blane De St. Croix is a sculptor who works on the landscape of climate change. In tandem with scientific researchers, and as himself an artist-researcher, he works on site and develops art in direct response to the land itself.

An exhibition first presented in Cairo in 2022 and curated by Farah Hallaba, Farida Youssef, and Ali Zaaray, featuring twenty-one Egyptian artists. By bringing this exhibition to Abu Dhabi, the curators aim to reflect on the new meanings taken by the artworks and narratives in this context — that of the host, rather than the home, country.
