Join us for a reading by poets from The Matrix Collective.
Disrupting the mythology of the solitary poet, this group of women–diverse in age, race, sexuality, and geography–formed a writing collective to sustain creativity and literary careers through risk-taking, vulnerability, and love. Since the early days of the pandemic, The Matrix has met each week over Zoom, gradually incorporating in-person retreats and readings into their activities. These writers support one another at every stage of the writing process, from generation, to revision, to publication, and celebration.
