Join us for the next event in the NYUAD Art Gallery series CURATORS TALK.
Nada Raza’s journey to curating began at the same time that her body began to develop a chronic inflammatory condition. This was when she lived in Garhoud, in Dubai, in 2002. Over the years, she began to understand her own relationship to care and co-creation as one that begins from points of deep discomfort towards generating relationality and ease. After a quick overview of her curatorial journey as a divided ‘South Asian,’ she will share her experiences with commissioning and exhibiting public art, live and performance art, as well as socially engaged practice
