WHERE NYU Abu Dhabi WHO Center for Brain and Health (CBH) By Invitation Interested scholars please contact nyuad.cbh@nyu.edu

Join us for the Winter Symposium on Global Neuroimaging, hosted by the Center for Brain and Health (CBH). The CBH is dedicated to understanding brain function in both health and disease, with a particular emphasis on disorders that are prevalent in the UAE.

The symposium brings together a community of researchers and clinicians working within the neuroimaging field across three themes. Through talks, discussions, and hands-on workshops, we aim to improve neuroimaging research both in the UAE and globally

Research Talk Themes

  1. Global Imaging and Standardization
We will explore advancements and challenges in creating standardized imaging protocols to foster global collaboration and data harmonization.
  2. Translational and Clinical Imaging
We will discuss cutting-edge imaging techniques and their transformative applications in clinical settings.
  3. Normative and Healthy Brain Imaging and Function
We will delve into the complexities of healthy brain imaging and functional studies, offering insights into the foundations of brain health and implications for neuroscience research

Half-day Hands-on Workshops

  • Diffusion Imaging
A practical session focusing on advanced diffusion imaging techniques and their applications in clinical and research contexts.
  • Perfusion Imaging
Insight into the latest perfusion imaging methods, emphasizing practical approaches and applications in neuroscience and clinical research.
