UAE Culture Through the Al Durour Calendar A Glimpse at the Way of Life in the Past and Present
This talk explores the importance and impact of seasons by looking at Al Durour, the Emirati astronomical calendar, and its relation to the natural environment and seasons of the United Arab Emirates. The speakers will bring a wealth of knowledge from multiple areas in the UAE to discuss the calendar and its links to economic activities and social aspects in the country.
*The lecture will be in Arabic with simultaneous translation into English
