The Annual International Conference on Manipulation, Automation and Robotics at Small Scales (MARSS) is the flagship conference for Small-Scale Robotics and Micro-Manipulation. MARSS is an exceptional non-profit conference that focuses on high quality research, impact-making, community-building, and for bridging the gap between academia and industry. It is globally the top conference in robotics at small scales. Historically, the conference is held in North America, Europe, and Asia, and has never been to the MENA region before. MARSS is envisioned to bring exciting research and industry opportunities to the UAE by attracting global industry and academic communities and leaders.
The conference is technically supported by the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society and the IEEE Nanotechnology Council. Technical topics of the conference include Mobile microrobotics, High-precision robotics, Targeted medicine, In-vivo robotics, Nanoscale manipulation, Automation at nanoscale, Robotic fabrication of NEMS/MEMS, Handling of bio- and nano materials, Characterization of nanomaterials, Biomedicine and cell surgery, SPM-based robotics, Desktop factories, MAV, Underwater robotics, Biomimetic, Swarm intelligence, etc.
MARSS 2023 will be held in-person on October 09-13, 2023, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
