Hosted in partnership with New York University Abu Dhabi, the THE MENA Universities Summit 2023 will explore higher education in the region.
The MENA 2023 summit will focus on promoting innovation, agility and strong national and regional collaboration, with a drive towards incorporating sustainability and equity across all aspects of an institution's outlook and long-term strategy.
The summit will feature the announcement of THE Arab University Rankings 2023 at a gala dinner, followed by an in-depth masterclass from THE’s data team, providing analysis and insight into the key findings, trends and stories from rankings data.
Above all, the summit will be about the future — the future of institutions and their research, the future of graduates and their adaptability, and the future of the planet and its survival.
After collaborating so fruitfully on hosting an excellent virtual summit with NYU Abu Dhabi during the pandemic, the Times Higher Education team is absolutely thrilled to be joining forces with the NYUAD team again – but this time in-person and on the stunning campus in Abu Dhabi. I have said before that the whole of the Arab world is enjoying a real renaissance in higher education, research and innovation, with the region’s universities surging up the global rankings, and it is clear that real leadership on this is coming from the United Arab Emirates.
