This one-day workshop and symposium focused on the topic of variability in gender representation in STEM across Arab and non-Arab countries. The primary goals of this symposium are (a) to disseminate the results of our synthesis among scholars with shared research interests; and (b) to stimulate international collaborations to further investigate gender gaps in STEM from a global perspective.
