Enjoy a recital of early 20th-century chamber music composed around the time of the First World War.

The program features Shostakovich’s 24 Preludes, with a special focus on Tziganov’s transcriptions of some of the preludes for violin and piano, and also includes Elgar’s Violin Sonata, Lutosławski’s Recitativo e Arioso, Szymanowski’s Mythes, Debussy’s Images Book 1, and Martinů’s Three Madrigals.

This concert offers a unique opportunity to hear a range of works that showcase the expressive and imaginative qualities of these composers, performed by:
