Join award-winning documentary filmmaker Sam Green, in an interactive workshop on sensitive listening. Participants will be introduced to the meaning of sonic landscapes in art and our everyday lives. With the goal to inspire creative exploration, the workshop will touch on the ideas of pioneering composers such as John Cage, Annea Lockwood, and Pauline Oliveros. Sam Green will draw on his original films and lead listening exercises to showcase the role of sound in any artwork.
