Open to the Public
While the pandemic has raised many challenges for women’s participation in sport, NYUAD Athletics is committed to creating sustainable change for women’s sports advocacy in the UAE and across the globe.
The second annual NYU Abu Dhabi Week of Women (WOW) in Sports is an opportunity to connect locally-based active women to themselves, to each other, and to the sporting community at large. The week-long program will involve two Sports Majlis panels, virtual workshops, and activities to celebrate and empower active women, while also exploring issues facing women in sport. Certain sessions will also be open to everyone, regardless of gender.
All registrants will receive a virtual pack for the week, featuring a WOW Active Challenge card, and a chance to win some fun prizes. The event is open for the entire community to take part.
