Thirty years ago, Dr. Jane Goodall launched a youth-driven movement that has inspired thousands of young change-makers and transformed the world.
This Earth Month, join NYU Abu Dhabi Community Outreach in this tribute to Dr. Jane’s legacy and the 30th anniversary of Roots & Shoots globally in an interactive youth-led workshop for meaningful dialogue around COVID-19’s impact on the environment and how recovery intersects with climate action.
High school students are invited to better understand the global climate crisis through a multifaceted lens, and be empowered through an emphasis on local solutions and climate policy. The program will focus on the pandemic, its effect on the environment, and how we can use this opportunity to catalyze positive disruptions
