This event will reunite artist Diana Al-Hadid with Maya Allison in a visit to the artist’s studio in Brooklyn, New York. Reflecting on Al-Hadid’s solo exhibition Diana Al-Hadid: Phantom Limb at The NYUAD Art Gallery, the conversation will explore Al-Hadid’s career and how current circumstances have affected her practice. The event will also be live-streamed on Facebook @nyuadartgallery.
This event is part of the TRACE: Archives and Reunions series, and will mark the publishing of the online archive for the Diana Al-Hadid: Phantom Limb exhibition, including a major monographic publication on the artist, as well as the Youth Guide, brochure and installation views.
