The pre-symposium workshop series brings together museum curators, artists, and scholars nominated by speakers of the Reframing Museums Symposium. The goal is to expand the discourse to the three 'traditional' pillars of the museum, namely the collection, the people and the building, in line with the symposium's objective of creating spaces for a multiplicity of voices. Collectively defining new frames to understand the future of museums' mission, functions and operations.
Reframing Museums marks the tenth anniversary of its seminal symposium Art Museums Here and Now and the third anniversary of Louvre Abu Dhabi.
