Nostalgia — ADCG Fall Musical Review

A global collaboration of Abu Dhabi Choral Group’s current and previous members featuring some of your favorite songs from some of your favorite ADCG shows. Expect a night of hits from classic shows 9-to-5, Legally Blonde, and other popular shows that have stamped the group’s mark on Abu Dhabi theater over the past 10 years! Get your popcorn ready, join everyone from ADCG online for their fall musical revue.

While the world waits for a vaccine to COVID 19, all across the globe many theaters are silent. Broadway has postponed reopening to June 2021 and at the West End a few shows are penciled in to start early next year.

So it has been for the Abu Dhabi Choral Group (ADCG), who have been unable to rehearse together in person. After the success of their June virtual concert, Quarantania Mania, they have rallied together past and present members from all over the world to bring you an end-of-year virtual concert titled, Nostalgia.

To create this concert, music director, Caroline Kelly contacted previous music directors and choreographers to lead the choir in numbers that were their favorites when they were part of ADCG. Rehearsals were held over 3 months on Zoom bringing the group together to learn the music and routines. Many members have also reprised their favorite numbers from years ago and can’t wait to share them with you!
