The artists and writers featured in the exhibition But We Cannot See Them will gather for a conversation about their community’s art history, past and present. This bi-lingual (Arabic/English) conversation will be led by art historian Aisha Stoby and joined by Nujoom AlghanemKhalid AlbudoorMohammed KazemMohamed Ahmed IbrahimAbdullah Al SaadiVivek VilasiniAdel KhozamEbtisam AbdulazizCristiana de Marchi, and Abdulraheem Sharif, as well as the exhibition’s curatorial team: Maya Allison (NYUAD Chief Curator), Bana Kattan (Associate Curator, MCA Chicago), and Alaa Edris (Assistant Director, Publications and Education, NYUAD).

Everyone is welcome to join and participate in the conversation through this gathering, which will be in the format of a Zoom party rather than a webinar (you will be on-screen with the group).
