We are excited to announce that we have decided to host the 2020 NYUAD Hackathon online from Thursday (8pm UAE Time), April 16, 2020, to Sunday (8pm UAE Time) April 19t, 2020.
This year we tackle challenges created by the COVID-19. The COVID-19 crisis has impacted every aspect of our lives and brought the world to a completely new way of living. The NYUAD Hackathon is bringing great minds together from all over the globe to create innovative solutions to the challenges brought by the COVID-19.
We will form teams of 5 to 7 members to focus on creating tech creative solutions targeting vulnerable communities, the healthcare system, the economy, education, and so on. We will be using Zoom for technical webinars, presentations, and judging, as well as Slack, Google Apps, and other online tools to stay connected and make this a great experience for everyone. We have excellent mentors that are dedicated to lead the teams from ideation to delivery. We have complete confidence that this hackathon would be a complete success.
