About GEN
The Girls' Education Network (GEN) is a leadership development program that invites young girls in Abu Dhabi to cultivate a deeper understanding of themselves in order to mindfully engage with the world around them. GEN was founded by two NYU Abu Dhabi students and Dalai Lama Fellows, Ritu Muralidharan and Sofia Gomez-Doyle in partnership with the Office of Community Outreach.
GEN aims to create inclusive, supportive spaces that enable dialogue and foster an exploration of practices such as self-awareness, empathetic listening, collaboration, and design thinking.
About the Workshop Series
The GEN Leadership Development Series curriculum includes six workshops. These workshops will be led by female university students who have participated in a facilitation training.
